Brethertons Support Opening Of The Fukushima Memorial Garden
July 31st, 2012 | by Humu |I was truly honoured that I was able to support the opening of the Fukushima Garden in London last week. Japan is recovering at an unprecedented speed. It is true that the path ahead is long – the Japanese government predicted that it will take 10 years for Japan to recover economically and I fully appreciate that there are many people out there who will never be able to come to terms with what had happened. However, I was moved by the dignity and bravery of the people of Fukushima and their determination to stand firm. Last week’s ceremony confirmed that the sun will rise again.
